Pima Cotton

Pima Cotton Fibre is the most luxurious strand of the original soft fabric in the world. The material is made from the "Gossypium Barbadense," plant. The defining quality of cotton strands that make them so valuable is the extra long staple fibres that produce more of a refined and silkier cloth.

Pima Cotton is a generic name for extra-long staple (ELS) cotton grown in various parts of the world and in very limited production. Pima is from the lowland Gossypium Barbadense plant species which is partly where the strands get their long, soft strands and resultant exceptionally soft fabric feel.

Pima Cotton is a much-desired "extra long staple" cotton fibre which can be woven into softer and more durable fabrics than other types of cotton.
